This was my first cannabis grow ever, I was planning on it being a closet grow because I didn't have a tent or nice light. But soon after I planted these girls a biddy of mine sold me his 2x4 tent and a great grow light. I really had no idea what I was doing at the start, all I wanted to do was interact with my plants so I probably over worked them. I didn't keep track of much data I wanted to focus more on keeping the plants alive so I don't know how much food they got and when the light intensity changed. What I do know is I forgot to take final product pictures after trimming but trust me you didn't miss out on much. The buds were loose and airy had a nice hops smell to them and were a little too dry. It smokes great though, super smooth toke with tons of flavor, but not much THC in there because I don't get too high off it. These Special Queen girls were fun and easy to grow even though they didn't yield too much, only 3 ounces. Below you'll see the whole process via pictures, I try to explain what I was doing at each stage but I struggle to remember!
This girl I nicknamed L as she was the left plant. She was put right into a 5 gallon pot with ocean forest soil.
This girl was named R since she was on the right. She first started in a 1 gallon pot with ocean forest soil.
One month later and the girls bushed out nicely. I moved R into a 5 gallon pot and she loved all the new space.
A big deoliation done before heading into flower.
I lolipopped too hard and got rid of a lot of good fan leaves.
A month into flower and the plants have stretched and pistils can be seen.
Could have done better training and pruning to maximize light.
Better view at all the stretch
Plants doubled or more in size
8 weeks of flower and the plants are done.
That major defoliation I think caused a big loss on mass because the plant never was able to produce big fan leaves again.
I really struggled with keeping the humidity and temperature consistent so the dry was faster then I'd like.
This was the last Picture I took of the plants. They dried out a lot and lost a ton of water weight.
