Haven't been taking as many pictures of her recently but today I cleaned her up gave her fresh top coat and tried to make her feel special. So far I'm liking how she's developing but I'm struggling with the side branches and how to arrange them.
After letting her grow out and feel free.
It was time to cut her back and train.
After letting her bounce back from trasnplanting it's time to start training again. I'm contiueing the swirl upward and trying to bring the side branches more parallel.
Took her outside to get a nice sunny photo of her.
This girl is a few months old and I've been doing my best to train her as hard as she can take it without scarring her. I just moved her into this beautiful new pot with lava rock at the bottom then a bonsai soil mix on top and some ocean forest to fill the gaps. She's not too happy with the transplant but I think she'll bounce back.
I saw some slight movement in the lower stem so I decided to lean into it and curve her around. I don't really have a plan yet but for now I'm going to spiral her upward and try to style her nicely.Â
