Put in grow tent on April 5th. Estimated Harvest date, August 3rd.
First day in the tent, the Halle Berry's (left) looked nitrogen deficient.
Beginning of may, I over fed them nitrogen and they looked a little sad.
Late May the plants started to really bush out and grow fast, I started heavily training.
Early June and one turned to a hermaphrodite so I had to kill it. Start of flower and lots of stretch
They've stretched a lot, way further than I was expecting, I hope their stems can support the weight they pack on!
Stretch phase just ended and I hope to see the flower locations really beef up.
Early July and end of stretch, ended up doubling in height.
July 11th, the tops started to show some fun colors
A week later and the bud sightd are starting to fill out
July 25th, the tops still have fun colors but I threw too much nitrogen at them and the flowers aren't getting much bigger
As you can see by the deep dark green leaves the plants are overfed on nitrgoen. It took me too long to notice the excess nitrogen and so I kept giving them their normal nutrients. By the time I noticed it was week 7 and a flsuh didn't do much. The tops are struggling with putting weight on and the leaves have become brittle.
As you can see I had to give each colla some support because the stems were not strong enough to hold the weight. You can also see just how dark green the leaves are and how droopy they look. I didn't want to keep them going for much longer because the tops were starting to get light burned.
With all the excess nitrogen the plant couldn't happily bulk up so I was left with small nigs with loose bud structure. Initial smell was very purple with hints of sweet sour. Out of the 3 plants I yielded 99 grams.
Overall I'm proud of how I cared for the plant and I leanred that synetic nutrients are not for me. Going forward I'm going to try organics and keep progressing my skills.
